Toronto’s Union Station shut down due to massive flood of rainwater and possibly sewage
A flood of rainwater and sewage shut down Toronto’s Union Station Friday afternoon, closing the key transit hub for hours and ensuring a nightmare afternoon commute.
TTC Chair Andy Byford was among the first to see the flood.
“I was on a train heading south to Union Station. I looked out the window and you could see water pouring onto the platform.”
He is not optimistic that Union will be useable for the afternoon commute.
“We are in the middle of a massive cleanup of the foul water,” said Mr. Byford. “I cannot see how this station could possible reopen for rush hour.”

Just whipped this up today! One of the things I love about Homestuck is how it presents long-distance online friendships as just as valuable and meaningful as ones in “real life”, and I tried to capture some of that in the lyrics.
I wrote this with the four beta kids in mind, but you can apply it to any pairing, any friendship or any group of characters you want! And whether you’re into this crazy webcomic or not, I hope some of you can still relate to this a little bit. =)

I was so excited when they handed this to me at the laser cutting studio, if I wasnt scared of making a fool of myself in front of the cute guys who worked there, I would have screamed.
No one understands how much I loved cardcaptors as a kid. Jesus christ, I use to run around in my backyard with a wooden branch pretending it was the staff. Oh jeez. The good old days.
So I was leaking my progress with this post and this post and tada, here’s the final product. :)
There was a bit of a laser burn on the bottom but that can’t be helped, a little sanding is all it needed. I was so excited, I ran into the nearest hardware store on my way home, bought some sandpaper and started sanding it as I was walking home.Probably not a good idea, luckily I didn’t bump into anyone or get hit by a car.I wanna make all the cards ;_; I think there’s like 50? More? Idk. But yeah.
The only downside was that the set up fee cost more than the actual cut so next time I’ll probably cut a few more to make up for it P:(THIS ONLY TOOK 10 MINUTES TO CUT. WUT.)
Oh and it’s 8”x3.5” but because it’s a vector I can easily scale it down/make it bigger if anyone was interested in keychain sized cards.
So what do you guys think? C: Would anyone be interested in one? Im super excited to make all of these and then maybe make a box or something to place them all in.
